t's hard to answer all of the questions that will come up when dealing with suppliers in Central America, we try to list the most commun questions and how we will answer them.

What is your lead time?

Depending on the type of product and weather you have requested us to keep inventory in our warehouse we can deliver within 24 hours. If the product has to be made in the USA, the normal lead time is 3 weeks. If the the product is coming from Asia, it will be about 6 to 8 weeks. Air shipments can be arranged to make quicker deliveries.

where do i send my purchase order?

Please send you purchase order to our fax: (504) 669-0809. If you prefer, you can send us a copy via email to: tonymedina@threadandtrim.com or marycruzm@threadandtrim.com. If you send your purchase order directly to one of the companies that we represent, we will not be able to know that you have placed an order, and we will not be able to follow upas efficient as we would if you send the order to us.

to whom will I pay my bills?

We represent the companies in Central America, and you can pay the bills to us, but we will prefer that you send the payments directly to our corporate office to keep our transactions cleaner. Regarless to who you send your payment, please make the payments in US$.

are all of your products made in the USA?

The majority of our products are made in the USA, but we do bring products from different parts of the world. We have buttons from Italy and China, Clear Elastic from Japan, Metal Buttons from China and USA, Pocketing from USA and Middle East, Zippers from Canada, Mexico and Venezuela, Priniting machines from Malaysia.

do i pay for delivery charges?

Each company that we represent has its own way to quote their products, most of them offer local delivery including those delivery charges in their prices. The products that are made to order and send directly from the factory, in most cases, will not include the delivery charges in the price. We will request for instructions to deliver, or send you a quote for our delivery costs.
