The company started back in 1993 as HILOS DE HONDURAS, S. A. when Threads USA established their first operation in Central America. Later in 1995 Witten Sales Corp. was incorporated as a Partner and the company changed its name to PRIMA, S. A.

In 1996 when Threads USA was sold, the company changed to Witten International Honduras S. A. being Witten International the majority stock holder.

In year 2000 Witten International closed down all of its operations and sold all of its stock to the new owners of the company, and the name was changed to Thread & Trim Suppliers, S. A.

 

Our Board of Directors is the following:

Tony Medina, President and General Manager of TTS has been involved in the industry since 1990. He was innitially involved in the investment attraction activity with FIDE and had the opportunity to help many apparel factories to get set up in Honduras. Then he was involved in the management of an Industrial Park, Free Trade Zone ZIP BUFALO. In 1993 he was invited to participate as the General Manager of the first industry supplier to set up in Honduras to service the New Apparel Industry, ThreadUSA.

He has been trained by the many companies that he has represented, and he is very knowledgable on the products that he currently represents.

He is constantly looking for new options and products that can be used in our industry.

Tony is involved in community activities, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Honduran Manufacturers Association AHM (www.ahm-honduras.com) and he is past president and an active member  of the USULA ROTARY CLUB (www.rotaryusula.org).

Maricruz Martinez is our Administrator and Operations Manager. She is the second in command in our company and she is also involved in sales for the Choloma and Pto. Cortes Area. She has a 16 Yrs experience in sales and has held the General Manager  and other management possitions in Century21 Real Estate, DEINSA (Banco del País) and Res. Las Mercedes (Banco Atlantida. She is vital to our operation and everything runs smooth because of her supervision and organization.

Our team is really form with all of the customer service personell from each of the companies that we represent.

From Llovet our main Cust. Serv. in buttons is Linda Cooper. She makes sure that we have the proper inventory on each country and releases all of the orders that we receive on buttons.

For the interlinings and embroidery backings customer service at Llovet Sales, we work with Debbie Rigsby, who also makes sure that we have the proper inventory in country, and she also releases the oreders that our customers send to us.

Wayne Industry has two divisions and each plant has people that works with us to better service our customers.  Lynn Bachman is our Sales Manager for Wayne Mills. She provide us with pricing information, samples, and productions schedules.

Oscar Martinez is our new Sales Representative for Honduras. He has a long experience in sales and administration and he represents an important asset to our local sales tem. Oscar is an Electric Engineer with special training in communications.

Astrid Velasquez is in charge of our Customer Service area, and she also supervises the inventories to make sure that all our customers have their products on time. Astrid is your main contact when tracking an order or projecting inventory needs.

We have been able to establish a good relationship with Llovet Sales Co.,  Wayne Mills, SCOVILL, Franklin Braid Inc., SEI, Corp. Rey,  Mayfair Labels, to be able to supply their products in Central América.

For cutting we have our own Fuse and Fold machine and Slitter, but we also have a Joint Venture agreement with ENTEX, where we are able to die cut, knife cut and slit cut.

Scovill Inc. has a large group of customer service personnel, we have Rafael Guadalupe asigned to work with us and our customers.

For the maintenance of the Scovill Machines that we rent, we can count with the great support provided by Rafael Pineda, as the Central American Tech Support Manager. He travels to all of the countries in Central America, and is assited by Ricardo Peña in GUatemala and El Salvador.
